Cross Egypt Challenge
Cross Egypt Challenge is a series of endurance cross-country motorcycles and scooter rallies conducted through the toughest tracks and roads of Egypt. The series is aiming to promote Egyptian tourism and is running in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and the Egyptian Tourism Authority.
The series started in 2011 and the first challenge was a 9 days ride from the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the North of Egypt to the temple of Abu Simbel, on the southern borders of Egypt with a total distance of over 1700 km.
The number of participants in the famous rally has increased over the years from 14 pioneering and brave participants from 3 different countries back in 2011 to a record breaking 75 participants from 14 different countries in 2015.
Each season, a carefully planned route is created to offer the perfect adventure experience for global riders. Each route includes a mix of Egypt’s finest spots including modern cities, coastal resorts, historical sites, Egyptian Eastern and Western deserts and Egypt’s Nile Valley.
